Garena Free Fire collaborates with Capcom, a game developer from Japan, to present Street Fighter V content in Free Fire. This collaboration will unite two players in the video game industry as well as support Garena’s strategy to continue to provide the latest gaming experience for the Free Fire community.

Harold Teo, Producer of Garena Free Fire said that when this collaboration begins in July 2021, Free Fire players can look forward to the presence of favorite characters of Street Fighter fans such as Ryu and Chun-Li. And will be accompanied by a variety of exclusive thematic content and experiences, including the display of the latest skins and activities, as well as various special items and experiences with special Street Fighter themes.

“Street Fighter has revolutionized video games for the fighting genre. They became a franchise that grew with us, playing as some of its iconic characters like Ryu and Chun-Li. Bringing some of the Street Fighters to Free Fire, and welcoming Ryu and Chun-Li to the Bermuda map is something we hope Free Fire players will enjoy,” said Harold.

Harold said that Garena’s collaboration with Capcom was built on Garena’s strategy to continuously improve the Free Fire experience with some of the world’s most well-known brands.

Previously, Garena announced a collaboration to bring international soccer athlete Cristiano Ronaldo and the Japanese anime series Attack on Titan to the Free Fire game.
