During the Google I / O 2021 developer conference, the company fully launched Android 12, with a new operating system due later this year.
The upcoming mobile operating system introduces many new features that will make users comfortable. There are some interesting things, one of which is the new design as well as the redesigned user interface based on Google Material You, a new design language that adds more flair to the OS.
Apart from that, Android 12 adds many interesting new features, such as new animations and widgets. However, a feature that will grab users’ attention for Android 12 is its ability to change UI colors, such as widgets and lock screen, whenever the user changes their phone wallpaper.
Google also notes that Android 12 includes some new changes to privacy and security, especially with the new privacy dashboard. This dashboard offers a single view of your permission settings along with other information such as easy access to disable app permissions and see what data is being accessed.
Android 12 will also expand the leverage of the Android ecosystem by enabling Android phones and other connected devices to provide users with more convenience in their daily lives.
One such feature gives select Pixel and Samsung Galaxy phones the option to double the smartphone as a car key. Google confirmed that it is working with several car manufacturers, including BMW, to add support for this feature.
Google has released a public beta for Android 12, which is downloadable for several phones, including the Google Pixel 3 and higher, and devices from companies such as OnePlus, Asus, and Lenovo.
